Carly Rae Jespen signed to Justin Bieber’s record label ‘Schoolboy Records’ earlier this year. He initially heard Carly on the radio whilst on a car journey in Canada, before making her his first signing.
If this wasn’t enough Justin Bieber decided to get some of his friends including Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez to film an unofficial video for the song. Unsurprisingly the video was a massive hit on Youtube with over 28 million views. Carly has since released an official video for the track, which has now reached the top 10 of the US Billboard Charts.
It is clear that Justin’s support for Carly has proved helpful, with her now aiming to top the charts in the UK, with the release of ‘Call Me Maybe’ on 22nd April.
