Baftas 2012- The Best Dressed Stars Who Graced The Red Carpet

13 Feb

Last night saw the acting world attend the 2012 British Academy Film Awards in London.

The ceremony didn’t just attract British stars, some of Hollywoods most famous film stars also made an appearance, including Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Meryl Streep.

As usual the talk of the night was who was wearing what, so here’s a look at some of the best dressed stars who turned heads on the red carpet…

Jessica Chastain

The Help star Jessica Chastain dazzled on the red carpet in this grecian-style Oscar De La Renta gown. The thin pleated material of the dress blew elegantly in the wind, catching attention from all angles. Jessica kept her hair and make-up simple, creating a fresh and youthful look.

Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz worked the sophisticated look last night in this burgundy Armani Prive gown. The structured design of the dress fits Penelope’s enviable figure like a glove, and the deep red colour of the gown looks great with her olive skin-tone. A simple-up do of the hair finishes off this chic look.

Melissa George

Melissa George looked stunning last night in this Victoria Beckham gown. Melissa teamed the black sequined wet-look dress, with hot pink lipstick and retro hair, achieving a glamourous and sexy look.

Kristen Wiig

The Saturday Night Live star got it right last night with this simple Alberta Ferretti gown. She teamed the dress with gold accessories and glossy waves for a flawless finish.

Joanne Froggatt

Joanne Frogatt also opted for a black gown by Victoria Beckham. The sleeveless dress is slim and chic, showing off Joanne’s amazing figure. The black and gold clutch that Joanne’s holding prevents the look from being too plain.
