Cannes Film Festival Fashion- Day 12

Sunday 27th saw the stars return for day 12 of Cannes Film Festival. The final premiere took place for the film ‘Therese Desqueyroux’, before the stars attended the festival’s closing ceremony. Here are the fashion highlights from the last day of Cannes 2012…

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor made her first appearance on the Cannes red carpet for the closing film ‘Therese Desqueyroux’ in this unique Alexander McQueen gown. The black tulle dress has intricate embroidery across the bodice with an overlay skirt and black sheer long sleeves. Sonam decided to team the dramatic gown with bold red lips, whilst wearing her hair in an up-do.

Sarah Margaret Qualley

Andie MacDowell’s daughter Sarah Margaret Qualley, stunned on the red carpet in this bold green Elie Saab gown. The top half of the dress is embellished with sequins, with a thin green belt around the waist, whilst the chiffon pleated skirt flows elegantly to the floor, with a subtle side split. Sarah kept her accessories to a minimum, allowing the dress to do all the talking. She finished the look with black strappy sandals, red lips and her hair in a youthful half-up half-down style.

Kylie Minogue

Kylie Minogue returned to the red carpet for the closing premiere of Cannes in this beautiful Roberto Cavalli gown. The pastel blue dress had a plunging neckline with a fitted bodice and flowing skirt. The diamante detailing on the bodice makes this dress look perfect fit for a princess. Kylie completed the outfit with a diamond necklace, pink lipstick and glowing bronzer, whilst keeping her her hair down off her shoulders.

Virginie Efira

Actress Virginie Efira was the centre of attention on the closing night in this glamorous gown. This grecian-style white dress has a plunging neckline and side split that reveal Virginie’s amazing figure. She teamed the dress with a clutch and minimal jewellery, whilst finishing the look with sultry bold red lipstick, volumised eyelashes and her hair loose in tousled waves.
