Royal Jubilee- All The Fashion From The Epsom Derby

3 Jun

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee kicked off yesterday, as the British Royal family attended the second day of the Epsom Derby to celebrate the monarch’s 60 year reign. With a backdrop of horse racing, all eyes were on what the Windsor family were wearing…

Queen Elizabeth II

The Queen was beaming on the first day of her jubilee celebrations at the Epsom Derby in this eye-catching outfit. The monarch opted for a white and blue floral print dress, along with a bold Royal blue crepe wool coat by Stewart Parvin and a matching hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan. She teamed the outfit with her signature pearl jewellery and white gloves, as well a black court shoes and a black handbag. She completed the look by adding her Grandmother Queen Mary’s Russian diamond and sapphire brooch to her jacket.

Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice looked elegant at the jubilee derby in this khaki-green and white lace shift dress. She teamed the dress with brown patent heels and a matching clutch, whilst opting for a sophisticated brown hat, with a matching khaki applique flower to finish off the outfit. This is a much more toned down look to the now famous garish fascinator we saw the Princess wear to last year’s Royal Wedding.

Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie opted for this black and white houndstooth pencil dress for the big day. She teamed the sophisticated dress with nude heels and a matching nude clutch, whilst choosing a black and white hat similar to her sisters to complete the outfit. Not one to completely play it safe, the young Princess was pictured with Union Jack painted nails, in a fun tribute to her Grandmothers celebrations.

Catherine Jenkins

Welsh opera singer Catherine Jenkins wowed in this cream fish-tail evening gown by Suzanne Neville for her performance of the national anthem at yesterdays races. The silk dress had a gorgeous silver lace overlay which glimmered in the light like a diamond- fitting for the diamond jubilee celebration. Catherine stunned again in her second outfit of the day, which was a bright blue Roland Mouret pencil dress, with a matching Philip Tracey hat.
