Miley Cyrus Covers The Bob Dylan Classic ‘You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go’

24 Jan

Miley Cyrus has just premiered the music video for her cover of Bob Dylan’s hit ‘You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go’.

The song was recorded as part of the Bob Dylan compilation album ‘Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honouring 50 years of Amnesty International’, which features covers from other top recording artists such as Adele, Maroon 5 and Ke$ha.

The video is somewhat stripped-back compared to what fans may be used to from Miley, with her sat at a stool singing alongside a man playing a guitar. Therefore, the focal point of the video is Miley’s voice and the lyrics of the song, proving it a fitting tribute to both Bob Dylan and Amnesty International’s work.

The compilation album will is available to purchase in the US today.

Till The World Ends REMIX Ft Nicki Minaj & Ke$ha

25 Apr

The official remix for Britney Spear’s Till The World Ends, has arrived after Britney herself posted the finished track on twitter earlier today.

The remix features rapper Nicki Minaj, the writer of the original song Ke$ha and Britney.

Personally I prefer the original, and find this a bit of a miss-mash with the Nicki Minaj rap at the beginning of the song not fitting at all. The song does grow on me as it progresses and Ke$ha’s voice fits the track well as expected.
